Montana

Etter bestefarens død kommer Efi tilbake til hjembyen for første gang på mange år. Her møter hun på Karen, en gift venn av familien. En romanse oppstår fort mellom de to kvinnene. Selv om den blomstrende romansen gir Efi livsgleden tilbake ulmer hemmelighetene hun én gang rømte fra under overflaten. Noa Biron gjør en slående rolletolkning i sentrum av Montana, og Limor Shmila har lagd en fantastisk debutfilm om en ung kvinne som blir nødt til å innse at den eneste måten å gi slipp på fortiden på, er ved å konfrontere den. 

Regissør Limor Shmila gjester festivalen og vil være tilstede på visningen.

Montana

In the wake of the death of her grandfather, Efi returns to her hometown for the first time in many years. Here she meets Karen, a married friend of the family. A romance soon emerges between the two women. And even though the blooming romance gives Efi a source of happiness, the secrets she once ran away from is simmering beneath the surface. Noa Biron makes a standout performance as the main character in Montana, and Limor Shmila has made a fantastic debut feature about a young woman forced to realize that the only way to let go of the past is to confront it. 

Director Limor Shmila is a guest at the festival and will be present at the screening.
