Ondi Timoner er en av få som har vunnet Grand Jury Prize på Sundance Film Festival to ganger – første gang for dokumentaren Dig! i 2004, og i 2009 for We Live In Public. Andre prisvinnende filmer er The Nature of the Beast (1994), Join Us (2007), Cool It (2010) og Brand: A Second Coming (2015). Hennes 10-timers lange dokumentarserie om byggingen av «verdens mest bærekraftige by», Jungletown (2017), lagd for Viceland, fikk svært gode kritikker. Hun gjester festivalen der hun vil presentere Mapplethorpe, som er årets Centerpiece Film under festivalen.

Ondi Timoner has the rare distinction of winning the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival twice – for her 2004 documentary, Dig!, and her 2009 top prize-winner, We Live In Public. Other award-winning features include: The Nature of the Beast (1994), Join Us (2007), Cool It (2010) and Brand: A Second Coming (2015). Her 10-hour nonfiction series about the building of “the world’s most sustainable town” Jungletown (2017), for Viceland was critically-acclaimed. She is a guest of this year’s festival presenting Mapplethorpe, which is the Centerpiece Film of Oslo/Fusion 2018.
